Annie Cosgrove

Annie Cosgrove is a designer and geoscientist based in New York. Her design and research interests span between the realms of architecture, urban planning, environmental science and art. She is passionate about sustainability and strives for improved understanding of the integration of design and our environment in the face of future climate change.

Annie received her Bachelor of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009 and worked professionally in the design world before returning to school to pursue research in urban climatology. She has just completed her Master’s in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago where her research explored the regional climate impacts of the Chicago urban heat island. Annie is currently a Design Researcher on the Research and Development team at WeWork.
