Rosalind Murray shares her multi-modal art studio off the beaten track and she exhibits, performs and curates at venues in Ireland, the USA, Northern Ireland, Italy, Norway, and the UK, including: The International Bowlby Memorial Conference (U.K), The Cambridge Arts Council (USA), The Pari Centre for New Learning with physicist David Peat (Italy) and Mapping Meaning (USA). She is a Director and curates for The Carlow Art Collection (http://carlowartcollection.ie) and is a founding member of artist collaboration C-BUG who advocate for and won protection of the River Barrow Special Area of Conservation through the Irish Planning Process in 2019. C-BUG presented Don't Pave Paradise at New Movements in Walking 2019 (Plymouth University UK) and published in Mapping Meaning Journal #4, Life After the Anthropocene; Envisioning the Futures of the World, edited by Jennifer Richter and Melanie Armstrong. Ros is an alumna of Rhode Island School of Design (MFA Painting), the NCAD (BDes), Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture and The Cooper Union Residency. She has received awards from The Arts Council of Ireland, RISD, Carlow County Council and Artlinks, and has work in collections in Ireland.
